Can I assign my own account number to an account in DNBi?

Yes, the system assigns a unique account number when you create an application, but you can also enter your own number. When creating an account from a credit application, the account number is populated with the value in the account number field of the application, if available. If one is not available, the account number generated when creating the account can be saved back to the application, if desired.
