Can I set the order in which my decision rules are evaluated?
Yes. Decision rules are evaluated based on the order specified by your administrator. This order is important because no other rules are evaluated once a rule is triggered.
By default, Decline rules are evaluated first. If no Decline rules are triggered, then Decision Pending rules are evaluated next. If no Decision Pending rules are triggered, then Approve rules are evaluated. If no rules are triggered at all, then the default outcome is triggered (see �What is a default outcome?�).
Your administrator can reverse the default evaluation order by selecting to evaluate Approve rules first. In this case, Approve rules are evaluated first, Decision Pending rules second, and Decline rules last.
Your administrator can also define a custom order in which to evaluate each individual decision rule. For example, if your credit policy has 10 decision rules�4 Decline rules, 3 Decision Pending rules, and 3 Approve rules�your administrator can set the order in which each of these 10 rules is evaluated.
