How is the Fraud Risk Score calculated?
The Fraud Risk Score is calculated by comparing the credit application data to predictive data sources in order to identify characteristics and behaviors that are similar to previously identified frauds. This comparison is done by matching the application data to names, addresses and phone numbers of known fraud businesses in these predictive sources. The results of the match are then processed through an empirically derived and statistically validated model to complete the assessment and generate a Fraud Risk Score
