How do I create an account in DNBi?
You can create an account in four ways.
The first way is to create an account from scratch. To do this, simply click on the "Create Account" button on the Account Manager tab.
The second way is to search for a company, select the company in the search results list or drill down to the company details, and then select to create an account for the company. Business information from D&B or other credit bureaus is automatically pre-populated on the Business Information page of the account. All you need to do is fill in the remaining account fields.
The third way is to create an account from a D&B company live report or snapshot in your folders. Business information from D&B is automatically pre-populated on the Business Information page of the account. All you need to do is fill in the remaining account fields.
The fourth way is to create an account from a credit application. You can do this from an approved or booked application, or while booking an approved application. The DUNS information and business financials associated with the application will be associated with the account.
