What are the differences between Quick Search and full Company Search?

Quick Search is the fastest way to search, and is accessible on all DNBi screens. Just enter a company name and state (or nationwide) and click on the “Search” button. You can also enter additional search criteria by clicking on “More Options” to the right of the Quick Search box. To ensure good matches when searching D&B you should include more address information. When just searching for companies in your portfolio a company name will suffice.

The “More Options” link has more advanced search capabilities, including the ability to search by address, D-U-N-S® ® Number, phone number, and executive name.

DNBi’s Search feature returns matches from the monitored companies and Snapshots in your DNBi portfolio. If no matches are found in your DNBi portfolio, you have the option of searching the entire D&B database to locate the company, which you can then add to your DNBi portfolio .
