How do I interpret the Change indicator field?
The change indicator field tracks 83 fields in the SDMR layout for changes since the last file update. The 7 byte field is made up of 7 categories of data that are being reviewed each time you submit a file to update your records. If there is a change to one of the fields within the category, the category indicator will change to �Y� indicating a change has occurred to one of the fields in that category. Each position represents a different category. The group categories and their position in the Change indicator field are as follows:
- Business Name/CEO Name � Position 1
- Address/Phone � Position 2
- SIC/NAICS � Position 3
- Employee/Sales � Position 4
- Linkage � Position 5
- Marketing Pre-Screen � Position 6
- Marketability Indicator (BEMFAB) � Position 7
