What is Optimizer?

Optimizer is a Web application that provides you with the most complete and up-to-date DUNSRight information available on your sales and marketing files. Two versions of Optimizer are available, Optimizer and Optimizer Professional. Optimizer is a domestic solution that gives you access to the US businesses in D&B�s global database. Professional is a global solution that expands your access to D&B�s complete database of more than 135 million businesses. Optimizer Professional also provides you with additional data elements, including the Marketing Pre-Screen Score and the Segmentation Cluster Score, and a change indicator field for updated records so you can easily update your systems with new D&B data.

Each order that you submit will cleanse and enhance your file as well as provide you with analytical reports that provide useful insight about your file for planning and analysis.

Optimizer delivers this insight in an easy to use process:

  1. Upload Your Customer List � Locate your file on your computer and import it into Optimizer.


  2. Verify Field Matches � Verify that Optimizer assigned the correct heading for each field in your input file that will be used to match your data to D&B�s database.


  3. Identify Optional Columns � Select a field heading for each additional data field you would like to retain in your output file.


  4. Review & Submit Your Order � Review your order specifications and make any changes if necessary


  5. Pick Up Your Order – You will receive email notification that your order is complete and available for you to download. You can either follow the link provided in the email or log into DNBi.


If you wish to refresh the information in a previously enhanced file, you can easily do so without having to go through the create order process. Simply select the order(s) you would like to update and submit them to be updated.
